2025, It's Been Quite A Ride.

Though I have been in the hospitality industry for quite a few years- 2025 was my first official year as a professional wedding planner. I have been coordinating weddings since 2022 and I completed the Wedding Planning Institute of Canada's Wedding Planning & Coordination certification course in 2024. This past year was the first year where I stepped out on my own, under my own brand and began the steep learning curve of being an entrepreneur. Wedding planning has been such a dynamic role- from the uniqueness of each event to the challenge of working with clients who have vastly different cultures as your own. Each moment allows me an opportunity to connect and be present.

The people I have met along this journey has been so amazing. The talent and creativity that I have witnessed has been very inspiring. My passion for being able to serve my clients a luxury experience- one where they can be present to make memories and not worry about the details. This year has been one for the books- from wild blizzards on a winter wedding day to backyard weddings with no rain plan. Each moment has brought me a chance to grow and sharpen my wedding instincts. I am so grateful for each moment- even the challenging ones- and isn't that what life is all about in the end? Gratitude.

Moving into 2026 and looking ahead at the events we have scheduled- I am so excited to give my whole heart to each event. I have spent the last year bringing associates into this business- people who are passionate about delivering exceptional results. I am so grateful for each individual that will be working alongside me this upcoming wedding season. I know that the trust that our clients have for us is not to be taken lightly. As my role within the business slightly changes, my team has my complete support with any event they may be working on.

2025 was a year of many wonderful moments and I am so blessed to be able to say that it was the year that I reached a personal goal- to become an officiant. I have wanted to be able to help couple's create beautifully unique moments for many, many years now. Being able to hold my certificate in my hands felt so fullfilling, and I am so grateful for my mentor Connie, for her belief and guidance to help me reach this place.

Thank you again for taking the time to read this messge. I wish you and your families so much love, health and wealth as we move into 2026. Remember to stop and breathe it all in, every moment of every day.
